Innovatrics has opened a new global headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia, which the biometric software company is calling Biometrics House. The facility was inaugurated at an on-site ceremony, with Chief Executive Officer Jan Lunter delivering the welcome remarks.
The company has framed the building as both an operational headquarters and a working showroom of its own technology. Biometric capture and authentication are built into the day-to-day functioning of the building, the company said, rather than being confined to a separate demonstration room. The site is laid out across multiple floors with integrated catering and shared spaces designed for meetings, technology demonstrations, and visits from partners and customers.
The headquarters consolidates Innovatrics’ Slovakia-based teams in one location and is intended to serve as the base for the company’s international operations. Innovatrics develops fingerprint, face, and iris recognition software and an automated biometric identification system, ABIS, used by governments and private-sector customers. Slovakia is also a deployment market for the company’s identity products, including the partnership behind Tatra Banka’s selfie onboarding service and a digital onboarding rollout at Slovakia’s largest health insurer. The company has extended that footprint into wider Europe through a configurable multi-country onboarding platform built with Erste Group for banks across central and eastern Europe.
The opening lands alongside other recent corporate activity, including a first-place composite ranking in the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s FATE Age Estimation and Verification track, and a new investment by Innovatrics Biometric Ventures in driver-monitoring start-up Mettis AI.
The opening event included art performances and live music, the company said, alongside the more conventional ribbon-cutting and tours.
