Imprivata Secures Top Spot in Black Book Survey of Healthcare Identity Providers

Imprivata has been listed as the healthcare industry’s top Client Satisfaction for Identity Governance solution. The accolade comes courtesy of the recently released 2020 Black Book Survey, which polled more than 640,000 healthcare IT users.

This is the third consecutive year that Imprivata has appeared on the roster of Top Healthcare Industry Technology Security Solutions. The digital identity specialist is the developer of the Imprivata Identity Governance and Imprivata Authentication Management platforms. The former can be used for digital access control to protect sensitive systems and applications, while the latter is designed to help clinics automate their identity procedures while complying with the strict privacy regulations in the healthcare industry.

The Black Book rankings are based on 18 performance criteria. Imprivata took the top spot in 11 of those 18 categories, including Reliability, Scalability, Trust, Data Security, and Support and Customer Care.

According to Imprivata, COVID-19 has created more demand for secure identity solutions in both patient and professional-facing applications as healthcare providers have transitioned to a remote work environment. The company has also teamed up with Microsoft to make Imprivata Identity Governance compatible with the Azure Active Directory platform.
