ImageWare‘s new CEO is now officially on the company’s Board of Directors.
Kristin Taylor was appointed as the company’s new chief executive on March 2nd of this year, with previous CEO Jim Miller having transitioned into the role of Executive Chairman of the Board. Now, as of May 26, Taylor has officially been elected to ImageWare’s board.
In a statement announcing the move, ImageWare asserted that since her appointment as CEO, Taylor “has already infused the company with new energy, a stronger vision for the business and an execution plan that incorporates agility for faster execution.” The company added, “The ongoing strategic restructuring of the Company will drive results and open new opportunities for the products and technology.”
Those products and technologies are, of course, biometric in nature, with ImageWare having secured a new US patent at the end of March, and published an on-demand webinar in which the company stresses the importance of biometric authentication in fighting cyberthreats that have emerged amid COVID-19.
In other executive-level news, ImageWare also announced the appointment of new Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Morris a month ago.
