IDEX Biometrics Receives BCC Production Order

IDEX Biometrics has received a production order from Beautiful Card Corporation (BCC) after BCC obtained a Letter of Approval (LoA) from Mastercard. The approval enables the global issuance and deployment of BCC’s biometric payment cards built on the IDEX Pay platform.

BCC, a prominent smart card manufacturer producing 121 million payment cards annually, focuses on the manufacturing, personalization, and packaging of payment and multi-application cards. The inclusion of IDEX Pay-based biometric smart cards complements BCC’s eco-sustainable card solutions in Asia and globally.

This deal follows an announcement a few weeks ago that IDEX reached a significant milestone in the commercialization of its biometric payment card solution, with an unnamed smart card manufacturer in South Asia commencing the production of cards featuring IDEX’s fingerprint-scanning technology.
