IDEMIA’s North American Identity and Security division has added two new members to its executive team. Lisa Sullivan is joining as the company’s new Senior Vice President of Travel and Transport, while Lisa Shoemaker has signed on as the new Vice President of Government Relations.
Both Lisas have years of experience in their respective fields. At Palantir, Sullivan was asked to develop data integration software solutions for federal transportation and aviation clients, and she also helped carry out a multibillion-dollar US airspace project while working on the program management team at L3 Harris Technologies.
Lisa Shoemaker, on the other hand, formerly served as the Director of Media Operations for the 2020 Republican National Convention. Before that, she worked as a cable industry lobbyist as the Executive Director of the Mississippi Cable Telecommunications Association.
At IDEMIA, Lisa Sullivan will be asked to oversee the company’s lucrative accounts with the Transportation and Security Administration (TSA), and with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP). She will also advance biometric projects with Royal Caribbean Cruises, and with several major airport operators in the United States. Shoemaker, as her job title would imply, will manage the company’s relationships with the government at the local, state, and federal level.
“We are thrilled to have both Lisa Sullivan and Lisa Shoemaker join the IDEMIA I&S North America Executive Committee as we expand our leadership team,” said IDEMIA I&S North America CEO Donnie Scott. “Both bring an incredible depth of knowledge to the company and will be instrumental to our evolution as a leader in biometrics, security and authentication.”
Sullivan and Shoemaker are arriving only a week after Douglas Harvey was appointed as IDEMIA I&S North America’s new Chief Technology Officer. In other news, the Oakland International Airport deployed IDEMIA’s MFACE solution to speed up passenger screening earlier in October.
