IDEMIA CEO Didier Lamouche has announced sweeping changes to the company’s leadership structure.
Its Executive Committee now has two new members. Philippe Barreau, the former head of Swiss security systems provider SICPA SA, has become a new Executive Vice President at IDEMIA, tasked with overseeing the company’s Public Security and Citizen Identity business units. Ed Casey, previously COO of UK government contractor Serco Group, is now CEO of IDEMIA’s Noram Identity & Security unit.
IDEMIA has also promoted talent from within the company. Pierre Barrial, who previously ran IDEMIA’s Mobile Operations arm, has now become EVP of the Financial Institutions unit. Meanwhile, Fabien Jautard, who managed IDEMIA’s Mobile Operators business for the APAC region, has taken Barrial’s previous position, becoming an EVP himself.
All of the announced leadership changes have taken effect immediately.
In a statement announcing the changes, IDEMIA asserted that they are intended “to consolidate its market leadership and speed up operational integration.” IDEMIA is the product of a merger between Oberthur Technologies and Safran Identity & Security that was finalized in May of last year.
