FaceTec Completes Full Suite of Level 1–5 Liveness and Injection Attack Testing
FaceTec has completed all five levels of PAD and injection-attack testing with zero failures, validated by BixeLab and Ingenium Biometric Laboratories. The assessments covered physical spoofs, digital injection attempts, and virtual camera feeds across multiple platforms. FaceTec says the results reinforce the security foundation behind its UR Codes strategy, which uses mobile devices to verify printed credentials in unsupervised environments.
SecuGen and Precise Biometrics Target MOSIP and Aadhaar L1 Markets With Joint Anti-Spoofing Fingerprint Solution
SecuGen and Precise Biometrics are integrating BioLive liveness detection into SecuGen’s optical fingerprint devices, aiming at MOSIP programs and India’s Aadhaar L1 requirements. The combined hardware–software stack is designed to provide reliable PAD without additional sensors, meeting certification demands for secure key storage and encrypted capture. The companies are positioning the solution for national ID issuance, benefits distribution, and financial onboarding where operators need stronger spoof protection in field conditions.
TSA’s New $45 “Confirm.ID” Program Formalizes Tech-Enabled ID Checks for Travelers Without Valid Documents
TSA is introducing Confirm.ID, a 45-dollar identity verification workflow for travelers who reach airport checkpoints without acceptable ID. The service, valid for 10 days, uses biographic and biometric checks to confirm identity before security screening. TSA says the fee supports technology and infrastructure costs and emphasizes that Confirm.ID is a last-resort option, reinforcing the agency’s push toward REAL ID compliance and mobile ID adoption.
FIDO Alliance Brings Authenticate Conference to Asia-Pacific With Singapore Event Focused on Passkeys and Digital Credentials
The FIDO Alliance will launch Authenticate APAC 2026 in Singapore on June 2–3, marking the first regional version of its authentication-focused conference. The agenda will highlight enterprise passkey deployments, interoperability, and digital credential integration as governments and platforms across APAC expand passwordless adoption. Sponsorship and exhibition options are available, with registration opening in the coming months.
ID-Pal Acquires NorthRow to Unify KYC and KYB Risk Intelligence
ID-Pal has acquired UK-based NorthRow, merging KYC and KYB capabilities into a single compliance intelligence platform. ID-Pal brings biometric checks and global AML screening, while NorthRow adds corporate verification and ongoing entity monitoring. The combined offering aims to give financial institutions unified risk views as regulators tighten expectations around document fraud, beneficial ownership transparency, and continuous monitoring.
Fingerprint Cards and jNet Secure Launch “AllKey Ultra FIDO” Biometric Token Platform
Fingerprint Cards AB and jNet Secure have released AllKey Ultra FIDO, a biometric System-in-Package that integrates a fingerprint sensor, secure element, and FIDO2 stack into one module. The platform is designed to help organizations accelerate hardware token development, offering pre-configured USB authenticators and support for slim form factors. FPC plans to showcase the technology at TRUSTECH 2025 as interest in phishing-resistant hardware tokens grows.
Incode Launches “Deepsight” Deepfake Defense, Validated by Purdue Study
Incode has launched Deepsight, an AI solution that detects deepfakes and virtual camera injection in real time. A Purdue University benchmark found Deepsight to be the top-performing commercial detector among 24 evaluated systems. The tool is already integrated into Incode’s identity platform and used by organizations such as TikTok, Scotiabank, and Nubank, reflecting rising demand for deepfake defense in onboarding and authentication flows.
Kenya Ports Authority Tenders Biometric Platform for Employee Medical Scheme
Kenya Ports Authority has issued a five-year tender for a biometric medical benefits system supporting fingerprint, face, iris, and virtual authentication. The platform must integrate with KPA’s SAP environment and hospital systems while managing benefit deductions, concurrent usage, and fraud controls.
