The iBeta Quality Assurance lab is celebrating its 20th year of successful QA operations. The Denver-based company started out as a humble video game testing facility, but has since expanded to provide reliable quality assurance for a wide variety of hardware and software applications, including biometric technologies. Most notably, iBeta was the first lab to be accredited for FIDO’s biometric component certification program, and recently became a certified provider of Mastercard’s Formal Approval Services.
iBeta is also accredited by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and is able to provide customers with EPCS certification. The company is particularly keen on liveness detection, and began offering anti-spoofing assessments in the spring of 2018.
“iBeta’s QA On-Demand service provides a cost-effective solution to beef up your QA teams whenever needed,” said iBeta Sales and Marketing Director Mike Stark. “We want our clients to stay with us because they like our work, not because of a contractual obligation.”
iBeta has performed rigorous QA testing for numerous high-profile clients that range from HID Global to FaceTec to PalmSecure. In addition to biometric components, the company regularly tests web and mobile software applications to evaluate criteria like performance, automation, localization, and accessibility.
