Adam Abrevaya has signed on as HYPR’s new Vice President of Engineering. He will bring more than 30 years of software development experience to the position, and joins the company following a stint at CloudHealth Technologies, where he also served as VP of Engineering. CloudHealth was acquired by VMware in 2018.
HYPR hired Abrevaya based on his expertise in the realms of Software-as-a-Service platforms and cloud technology. In prior roles, Abrevaya developed numerous products designed to help other organizations make the transition to the cloud to reduce costs and improve security.
“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Adam Abrevaya to HYPR. His extensive experience in SaaS deployment and security will be invaluable to scaling passwordless authentication across millions of users,” said HYPR Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Bojan Simic.
“I’m thrilled to be working with the talented team at HYPR, and look forward to helping to accelerate the mass adoption of passwordless authentication technology,” added Abrevaya.
Abrevaya previously held executive engineering positions at NuoDB, m-Qube, and VeriSign. HYPR, meanwhile, is a leading advocate of passwordless authentication solutions. The company sits on the Board of Directors for the FIDO Alliance, and is currently working with ForgeRock to develop a new digital security solution that will eliminate the need for passwords and shared secrets in the authentication process.
