SoftwareReviews has officially crowned HID Global’s DigitalPersona platform in its 2019 Identity and Access Management (IAM) Emotional Footprint Diamond Report. The report slots IAM solutions into one of four quadrants based on user reviews from customers.
HID DigitalPersona was listed in the “Champion” category, which is reserved for solutions that offer a “Fair Cost to Value” and a favorable “Net Emotional Footprint.” The former metric indicates the solution is worth the price customers are paying for it, while the latter reflects the emotional response that users have to a company and the product it sells.
According to SoftwareReviews, the rankings are based entirely on user reviews, without any consideration for market presence or the opinions of professional analysts. HID DigitalPersona was one of eight solutions evaluated in the report, and ranked in the top category for the second year in a row.
“We are proud to have earned the strong relationship with our customers acknowledged with this ranking,” said HID Global VP and IAM Managing Director Brad Jarvis. “The accomplishment highlights our ongoing commitment to meeting or exceeding our customers’ expectations every time we interact with them.”
HID DigitalPersona is a multifactor authentication platform built for large enterprises. Originally developed by Crossmatch before migrating to the HID Global portfolio through an acquisition, DigitalPersona leverages fingerprint recognition and behavioral biometrics to deliver secure identity verification and authentication services to its clientele.
BigWise recently became the latest addition to that roster after integrating DigitalPersona into its Stellar Point-of-Sale terminals for its customer base in South America. HID Global has also joined forces with VMware to create a comprehensive physical and digital access management solution for mobile devices, and acquired De La Rue’s entire passport and ID portfolio.
