Princeton Identity has joined forces with Future Trend to provide businesses with a new time and attendance management solution. The joint offering will combine Princeton’s biometric identification technology with Future Trend’s comprehensive HR software platform.
Future Trend’s OBO MILENIO software solution is designed to simplify a number of different administrative procedures. For example, the centralized platform can generate auditable time and attendance records, and track employee access events across multiple locations in real time. In doing so, it negates the need for a traditional time card, and makes it easier to handle payroll.
The partnership with Princeton will add biometric authentication to the platform. Under the new system, employees will be asked to complete an iris recognition scan when they arrive at work, which will further streamline HR processes, improve security, and prevent staff members from clocking in for their friends.
Future Trend will specifically be using Princeton’s IOM Access200 line of iris recognition products, which utilizes the company’s Iris-on-the-Move (IOM) technology to identify people in less than two seconds in both indoor and outdoor settings. The solution is designed for access control, and also offers temperature detection to make sure that employees are not running a fever. Princeton added temperature sensors to its Access200 products in August of 2020.
“The collaboration with Future Trend leverages biometric technology to create a seamless experience for employees as they navigate their day-to-day activities, while allowing companies to capture critical HR data,” said Princeton Identity CEO Bobby Varma. “It’s part of our vision to expand the role of biometrics beyond access control into broader customized solutions for employees, visitors and other stakeholders across all industries.”
Future Trend is based in Abu Dhabi. The company’s HR platform is currently available in the Middle East, though Future Trend is making plans to expand to other parts of the world.
