“Tschudy’s reputation for creating trusted partnerships with businesses and leaders, commitment to mentorship and investing in talent is an incredible asset to ForgeRock’s purpose of building a strong, diverse culture, helping our customers succeed and helping people simply and safely access the connected world.” – Fran Rosch, CEO, Forge Rock
ForgeRock is bringing on Tschudy Smith to oversee talent acquisition and employee relations as the company’s new Chief People Officer (CPO). As CPO, Smith will be asked to set ForgeRock’s talent acquisition strategy, and to develop rewards and retention programs to make sure those employees stay with the company. She will also spearhead the company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives, and guide internal employee development.
Smith brings more than two decades of experience to the position. She served as the SVP of People and Communities at Cisco before joining ForgeRock, and held the title of Senior Leader in Human Resources at AOL/Time Warner before joining Cisco. Her responsibilities at Cisco were similar to what they will be at ForgeRock, which is currently growing and already has more than 760 employees located all over the world.
“People are at the heart of every great company,” said ForgeRock CEO Fran Rosch. “Tschudy’s reputation for creating trusted partnerships with businesses and leaders, commitment to mentorship and investing in talent is an incredible asset to ForgeRock’s purpose of building a strong, diverse culture, helping our customers succeed and helping people simply and safely access the connected world.”
“Fran and his team have built ForgeRock into one of the most respected enterprise identity leaders helping businesses run digitally,” added Smith. “ForgeRock’s combination of talented people, values which drive their culture and unmatched platform and product innovation is very compelling. I could not be more excited to join the team and help lead ForgeRock in its vision to make online experiences feel more natural and more secure.”
Smith is ForgeRock’s second addition to the executive suite in the past few months. The company hired Chris Lyon as its new Senior Vice President of Engineering back in May. ForgeRock’s Identity Cloud platform was listed on the Google Cloud Marketplace in April, while the company itself joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association and received ISO certification in September of 2020.
