“This relationship will allow us to continue expanding into new markets, strengthen our presence in industries in which we are already prominent, such as finance, and give greater visibility to our identity verification solutions, as one of the first companies to provide digital onboarding and authentication in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.” – Javier Mira, CEO, FacePhi
One of the world’s biggest software companies is now one of FacePhi‘s distribution partners. The latter has announced that its digital onboarding and facial recognition solutions are now available through the Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
Aimed at serving Oracle Cloud customers by offering a one-stop shop for compatible apps and services, the Oracle Cloud Marketplace features add-on or plug-and-play solutions targeting a range of use cases, from sales to customer service to social media. And all of the solutions on the Marketplace have the Oracle stamp of approval: as Oracle explains, they are “offered by approved, registered, and expert partners and developers,” and Oracle itself “has vetted, reviewed, and approved each product.”
At a time of digital transformation and a rapid shift into digital channels across a range of sectors, FacePhi’s biometric onboarding technology may be a welcome addition to the Marketplace in the eyes of many Oracle users. The company has certainly seen strong demand in the broader commercial market, having recently reported record growth in its year-end update for 2021.
“This relationship will allow us to continue expanding into new markets, strengthen our presence in industries in which we are already prominent, such as finance, and give greater visibility to our identity verification solutions, as one of the first companies to provide digital onboarding and authentication in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace,” commented FacePhi CEO Javier Mira. “We look forward to providing digital solutions for Oracle users, and helping ensure safe and fast operations.”
Expansion into new market appears to be a key concern for Mira and the rest of FacePhi’s leadership team. Having established a strong presence in the LATAM sector over the last few years, the company has also opened an APAC subsidiary based in Korea, where last month it received an important certification from the Korean Security Agency’s National Biometric Testing Center.
Additionally, a recently announced partnership with the Valencia CF soccer club could provide an unconventional gateway to further business through the latter’s promotion of FacePhi at major sports events. The Oracle Cloud Marketplace, meanwhile, will offer a more direct approach to business entities in need of remote onboarding technology.
