Facephi Named in Everest Group’s Top 16 for Advanced Fraud Prevention and Behavioral Analytics

Facephi has been named to Everest Group’s Top 50 Financial Crime and Compliance Technology Providers 2026 report, and placed in the Top 16 for Advanced Fraud Prevention and Behavioral Analytics, a category reserved for providers that use behavioral analytics, network intelligence, and anomaly detection to counter sophisticated fraud typologies such as scams, mule networks, and cross-channel manipulation.

The Everest Group ranking evaluates technology vendors across the full financial crime value chain, from identity verification and know-your-customer controls to fraud detection, transaction monitoring, and regulatory compliance. The Advanced Fraud Prevention and Behavioral Analytics sub-category distinguishes Facephi as a behavior- and risk-oriented platform rather than a pure identity verification vendor, reflecting a multi-year product expansion beyond its core biometric onboarding business.

Facephi’s platform combines multi-factor biometrics, behavioral signals, adaptive AI- and ML-driven risk scoring, and transaction monitoring, designed to detect threats across the full customer lifecycle. The company says its current deployments address threats including synthetic identities, account takeover, and organized fraud networks, with live implementations at regulated financial institutions in more than 30 countries across Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia, and Africa.

“This recognition by Everest Group confirms what our clients already know: Facephi is no longer just a KYC or identity verification provider,” said Javier Mira, CEO of Facephi. “We are a global financial crime prevention platform, operating at the intersection of identity, behavior, and risk intelligence.”

The Everest Group listing reflects a strategy Facephi has been operationalizing through a series of recent deployments. The company signed a five-year behavioral biometrics and mule account detection agreement with a Central American bank covering fraud prevention across the full customer lifecycle, and launched its AI biometric identity suite on AWS Marketplace to simplify enterprise integration.

Facephi has also been expanding its geographic footprint through partnership and subsidiary activity. Its digital identity alliance with Huenei covers implementation capacity across Latin America and the United States, and the company continues to operate the APAC subsidiary it established in South Korea.

Facephi is headquartered in Alicante, Spain, with subsidiaries in APAC, EMEA, and LATAM. The company’s shares trade on BME Growth and Euronext Growth Paris.
