San Francisco-based digital identity company ForgeRock has announced the appointment of Eve Maler as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Maler had previously served as ForgeRock’s Vice President of Innovation and Emerging Technology, having joined the company in 2014. Prior to that she had served at Sun Microsystems and as an analyst for Forrester Research.
Maler’s 20 years of digital identity and security experience has seen her as the founding chair of the working group for the Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) identity federation standard, as well as having provided advice as an expert strategist for forums like UK Open Banking and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology.
“Eve brings exceptional leadership and vision to ForgeRock as we continue to help people to safely and simply access the connected world,” said Fran Rosch, CEO of ForgeRock. “She’s been at the table advancing industry standards such as SAML, XML and of course, User-Managed Access. Her deep expertise in identity, security and privacy is unmatched.”

In addition to Maler’s new role as CTO, ForgeRock has also announced the appointment of Allan Foster as the company’s new chief evangelist.
