CyberLink, a pioneer in AI and facial recognition technologies, has announced the latest release of its FaceMe Security solution, version 7.15.
The company’s turnkey security and access control system uses facial recognition for identity verification, attendance management, and access control. It integrates with major video management systems (VMS), enabling the more speedy identification and location of individuals through biometric recognition.
A notable addition to the upgraded system is a ‘Notification Monitor’ add-on feature designed for security teams. This tool enhances productivity by alerting personnel through blinking notifications and sounds when a blocklisted individual is detected. It displays real-time information, including the camera location, name, and live image, enabling proactive response and potential incident prevention.
Furthermore, the integration with CyberLink’s U Messenger communication app now offers greater flexibility, allowing users to set specific alert parameters, such as selecting cameras or times of day, and to send notifications to different chat groups based on the type of alert (VIP, blocklist, employee, etc.).
Other updates in version 7.15 include support for more edge devices in FaceMe Security Terminal Add-Ons, configurable precision levels for groups and enrolled individuals, and compatibility with Axis Camera Station 5 and Axis Camera Station Pro.
The upgrade follows an announcement in May of this year that CyberLink achieved ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification for its FaceMe facial recognition platform, demonstrating adherence to rigorous standards for information security management.
