“Having the [DigitalPersona] solution in the App Exchange is critical for us to expand the reach into this important, growing security community.” – Nick Pattakos, SVP, Global Services and Solutions, Crossmatch
Crossmatch’s DigitalPersona authentication solution has been integrated into the IBM Security Access Manager, a platform aimed at offering enterprises secure and simple access to online services.
The integration means that IBM Security Access Manager users will be able to leverage DigitalPersona to authenticate using biometrics, smart cards, mobile devices, FIDO compliant tokens, and other sophisticated security mechanisms beyond password-based systems. The solution is now available through the IBM Security App Exchange, an online marketplace offering a range of security solutions for end users.
In a statement announcing the integration, Crossmatch Global Services and Solutions SVP Nick Pattakos explained that it “means customers are provided with a solution that can easily fit into existing environments to secure their most complex and consequential applications.” Pattakos also gestured to the positive implications for Crossmatch’s business, asserting, “Having the solution in the App Exchange is critical for us to expand the reach into this important, growing security community.”
The development comes just a couple of weeks after Crossmatch received FBI Appendix F and FAP 60 certification for its Nomad 60 Wireless Reader.
