Alcatraz has come to another reseller agreement. This time around, the facial recognition specialist has teamed up with Southern California’s Clear Cloud Solutions, which will sell and market Alcatraz’s Rock as a physical security solution.
The news comes only days after Alcatraz formed a similar partnership with New York Security Solutions. Like NYSS, Clear Cloud designs and installs security systems for corporate clients, and will now be integrating The Rock into the solutions it develops for its customers.
The two deals differ in terms of location and the target market. NYSS will extend Alcatraz’s reach on the East Coast, while Clear Cloud will focus its efforts on select physical security verticals. The latter indicated that COVID-19 has created a growing demand for contactless access control options.
“Clear Cloud has earned a great reputation for specializing in protecting critical assets in many sectors, particularly the utilities vertical,” said Alcatraz Chief Revenue Officer Tina D’Agostin.
“We believe it is important to have technology in our portfolio that facilitates getting employees back to work safely and secures the workplace,” added Clear Cloud Sales and Business Development VP Greg Sippell. “We’ve been impressed with the Alcatraz team, the tools they provide, and their collaborative nature with the channel.”
The Clear Cloud partnership is one of the many steps that Alcatraz has taken to boost its sales in the past few months. The company has made several sales-oriented additions to its executive suite, and joined forces with Channeltivity to improve its communications with its dealers.
