BRIEF: Highlights from ISC West 2018

With ISC West wrapping up today, it’s hard to take it all in. The annual event was, as always, jam-packed, with exhibits such as the Connected Security Expo, the Emerging Technology Zone, and the Public Security & Safety Expo. There were also a ton of educational programs, with some of the most popular including the Active Shooter Workshop, Creating a Smart Cities Solution by Leveraging IoT, and Connected Home – The Future is Now. And as usual the SIA’s New Products Showcase attracted a lot of attention too, with more than 120 companies having submitted their solutions to expert panels for evaluation.

It was, in other words, a very eventful ISC West, with far too much happening to follow everything at the same time. But now that it’s coming to a close, we can take a look back at some of the highlights:
