BehavioSec has released the latest iteration of its flagship Behavioral Biometrics Platform. The version 5.2 update comes with the expected slew of performance and accuracy improvements, including a new Coaching Fraud detection module and an Automated Clustering Engine.
The Coaching Fraud module is designed to clamp down on vishing fraud, in which a fraudster poses as an official representative of an institution and tricks the target to gain access to their account. The module will improve BehavioSec’s ability to detect deviations from the target’s typical navigation pattern that could indicate that a vishing attack is underway.
The Automated Clustering Engine, meanwhile, was built to differentiate malware from automation scripts with a more legitimate purpose, which will enhance the system’s ability to stop malware while allowing genuine activity to continue.
In addition to the new features, BehavioSec announced that the Behavioral Biometrics Platform has been integrated into the ForgeRock authentication platform and the Ping Intelligent Identity Platform. Thanks to those integrations, BehavioSec’s solution is now available to other third parties through the ForgeRock marketplace and the PingFederate server. The Behavioral Biometrics Platform has already been listed on NICE Actimize’s X-Sight Marketplace.
“With BehavioSec’s Behavioral Biometrics Platform, organizations can continue to take advantage of the latest digital transformation innovations while evolving their security to meet them,” said BehavioSec Products VP Jordan Blake.
BehavioSec released the fifth version of its Behavioral Biometrics Platform just over a year ago, and later updated it with version 5.1 in July in anticipation of Europe’s PSD2 compliance deadline. Like previous iterations of the platform, version 5.2 is compliant with GDPR, PSD2, and other data security regulations.
The Behavioral Biometrics Platform recently took home a Gold medal at the 2019 Golden Bridge Awards. The Cybersecurity Breakthrough Awards also named it as the Multi-factor Solution of the Year.
