Suprema Targets European Market with New Managing Director

Baudoin Genouville has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Suprema Systems GmbH, where he will help promote the Korean company’s operations in the European and North African regions. Genouville has been with the company since 2013, and will leverage his experience to lead the local sales and technical support team while also assisting with marketing and PR.

The newly appointed executive will split his time between the company’s offices in Germany and France, and will be expected to boost Suprema’s profile as a provider of security solutions.

According to Genouville, it is “not a radical move to localize Sales and Support closer to our customers. With local branches and dedicated staff across Europe, Suprema Inc. will better serve its distribution Partners.”

He later added that “our local set-up will see increased consulting operations and support actions for the benefit of our End-Users.”

Suprema recently showcased its security solutions at IFSEC 2019 in London, although it’s worth noting that Ireland and the UK are the only two European countries that fall outside of Genouville’s purview at Suprema Europe. More recently, the Dutch company Nedap announced that it would be integrating Suprema’s BioStar 2 tech into its AEOS access control platform.
