Alcatraz AI is looking to boost adoption of its facial recognition-based security solution with the appointment of a new Vice President of Sales.
Paul Fisher comes to the company from a previous position with Salient Systems, where he started in 2013 as a Regional Sales Manager and ultimately rose through the ranks to become Vice President of Global Key and National Accounts. He has also held sales manager positions with Tyco Integrated Security, ADT Security Services, and Stanley Security Solutions, building a decades-long track record in the security sector.
In his new position with Alcatraz AI, Fisher will be tasked with driving revenues and growing the company’s sales team. He will also play an important role in helping to craft strategies aimed at extending Alcatraz’s market reach and its partner base.
“We are excited about having Paul on our team,” commented Alcatraz AI CEO Tina D’Agostin. “His expertise in sales will be very valuable in taking Alcatraz AI to the next level.”
Fisher’s efforts will, of course, revolve around The Rock, Alcatraz’s flagship offering for biometric security. The Rock uses facial recognition as a primary authentication factor to regulate physical access, and has attracted a growing number of clients interested in the kind of contactless fast, contactless access control enabled by the system.
What’s more, it offers support for additional authentication factors like employee badges or PINs for situations requiring heightened security.
For his part, Fisher gestured to the technological innovation of Alcatraz’s solution in expressing his excitement about joining the team. “With over 25 years of experience in the security industry, I am excited to continue uncovering opportunities and driving the team to build long-lasting relationships at Alcatraz AI,” he said. “I’m looking forward to working with a company that is innovative and making solid steps to improve physical security.”
Alcatraz AI was showcasing The Rock at last month’s ISC East conference in New York City, where FindBiometrics’ Doug OGorden had the opportunity to speak with Dale Kougel, Alcatraz AI’s VP of Professional Services and Customer Success.
