Onfido is celebrating a banner year, announcing that it posted year-over-year growth of 130 percent in 2019. The company also strengthened its presence in the US with a 60 percent increase in its workforce and several new additions at the senior level.
Onfido was particularly bullish about its performance in the last quarter of the year. Key accomplishments include the company’s SOC-2 Certification, and its new partnerships with the Ubisecure and ForgeRock Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) platforms. The company is naturally hoping to build on that success in the next twelve months.
“2020 is set to be one of our strongest years yet, as we continue to grow our global presence, attract key talent and roll out Digital Access as a Service to enterprises,” said Onfido Co-Founder and CEO Husayn Kassai. “We’re actively preparing for the future, with many of our engagements around reusable online identities entering their next phase of development.”
Onfido went on to highlight its acquisition of Aviata, which is Onfido’s first acquisition in North America. In the meantime, the company has maintained its foothold in Europe while targeting global markets. Onfido received the 2019 European Technology Innovation Award from Frost & Sullivan, and formed a strategic partnership with Entify in Estonia.
Other new 2019 partners include bunq, b-sharpe, and the Civic cryptocurrency wallet.
