Neurotechnology has released the fifth full version of its NCheck biometric attendance and time management system. Like its predecessors, NCheck Bio Attendance 5.0 allows employees to clock into work with a face, fingerprint, or iris scan on a smartphone or another device.
NCheck 5.0 introduces performance improvements that make it easier to install and use the system. The platform can now be deployed in public or private cloud environments. Other features include an updated back-end interface for administrators and tools that makes it easier for managers to analyze the data collected through the program.
The platform also offers better facial recognition technology. NCheck can now recognize multiple users in a single image, and enables offline recognition to keep things running smoothly when the network connection goes down.
“This NCheck release is more interoperable, working seamlessly with other systems, and allows for easier integration into existing human resources related software,” said NCheck Project Manager Vaidas Didvalis.
NCheck 5.0 automatically logs GPS location data whenever employees clock in or out using the system.
Neurotechnology has steadily improved the NCheck platform over the past few years, dating all the way back to the release of NCheck 2.0 back in 2013. The platform’s facial recognition improvements reflect the company’s recent focus on facial recognition technology. Neurotechnology launched a new facial recognition SDK at the beginning of the year, and has since upgraded the algorithm for the SkyBiometry API.
