CyberLink Takes Biometric FaceMe Solution to GSX 2019

CyberLink is taking its facial recognition portfolio to the 2019 edition of the Global Security Exchange (GSX) in Chicago. The event will run from September 2nd to 12th at McCormick Place, where CyberLink will be showcasing its wares at Booth #2394 in Exhibit Hall A.

At GSX, Cyberlink will be showcasing its FaceMe facial recognition platform, and the U Alerts feature in particular. The FaceMe algorithm is compatible with Windows, Linux, Android, and iOS, and can be used for a variety of applications, including venue security, retail, and access control. U Alerts, meanwhile, is a notification system that will automatically send an alert to a smartphone or a PC when a person of interest makes an appearance on a FaceMe camera.

“FaceMe enhances security through its advanced technology, providing one of the fastest and most flexible edge-based solutions in the market,” said CyberLink CEO Jau Huang. “Using facial recognition in public and private safety, and combining this technology with instant notification tools like U Alerts, can dramatically improve crime prevention and detection.”

The FaceMe algorithm recently posted a “top tier” result on the NIST’s Face Recognition Vendor Test, and was previously integrated into a customer service robot from Syscom Group. CyberLink also displayed its portfolio at Computex 2019 in Taiwan.
