Aratek’s TruFace facial recognition solution will make its European debut at the upcoming TRUSTECH 2019 event in Cannes. Though the company is best known for its fingerprint recognition tech, Aratek has been working to expand its facial recognition portfolio and recently demoed new TruFace terminals at October’s SDW Asia event in Singapore.
“We are excited to introduce TruFace to the European market and demonstrate how it delivers face-enforced identification and authentication,” said Aratek Sales VP Samuel Wu. He noted that TruFace can be used for a range of applications, including access control, retail, and payment authentication.
At TRUSTECH, the TruFace platform will be showcased alongside a slew of other Aratek solutions, including the Marshall biometric terminal that provides fingerprint registration and matching in a convenient handheld form. Guests will also be able to view Aratek’s BD9300 biometric desktop and its STQC-certified A600-M and A400-M fingerprint scanners.
Aratek recently brought its TruFace technology to the CPSE 2019 event in Shenzhen, largely in an effort to gain a foothold in China’s enormous facial recognition market.
TRUSTECH Cannes will run from November 26 to 28 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on the French Riviera. Aratek’s wares will be on display at Booth #RIV H 040.
