“…the company will also show off its EcoID, SidePass, SideSwipe, and SideTouch fingerprint scanners, all of which are compatible with BIO-key’s OmniPass Consumer password management app.”
BIO-key will be on hand at this week’s Connect:ID exhibition in Washington, the company has announced. Not only will it be showing off a range of its solutions, but one of the company’s top executives will be part of a keynote panel.
BIO-key will of course put its TouchLock biometric padlocks in the spotlight, with the devices having emerged as a key element of its business strategy for 2018. But the company will also show off its EcoID, SidePass, SideSwipe, and SideTouch fingerprint scanners, all of which are compatible with BIO-key’s OmniPass Consumer password management app.
Other software solutions to be showcased include its ID Director platform for Microsoft Active Directory integration and its WEB-key 4.0 biometric authentication system.
The solutions may get some extra attention during the show thanks to BIO-key’s participation in the panel session, “Server-based biometrics – Were we too quick to demonize?” The company’s SVP of Strategy & Business Development, Jim Sullivan, will discuss the issue of on-device vs. server-based authentication alongside other panelists, with the session scheduled for 9:35 a.m. on May 2nd, the second and final day of Connect:ID 2018.
