“The program will allow participants to offer BIO-key’s full range of biometric solutions to their customers.”
BIO-key has launched a new Channel Alliance Partner (CAP) program, the company has announced. The program is aimed at creating a distribution network of security integrators, managed service providers, and VARs to promote BIO-key’s biometric security solutions.
The program will allow participants to offer BIO-key’s full range of biometric solutions to their customers. That includes its ID Director for Windows software solution for Microsoft Active Directory, ID Director for SAML, and its complete line of USB fingerprint scanners, approved for use with Microsoft’s Windows Hello authentication platform.
In a statement announcing the CAP program, BIO-key Chief Revenue Officer Fred Corsentino framed it as a win-win for third parties offering integrated security solutions and BIO-key itself. “Partners will be able to add new opportunities to their pipeline with expanded, higher-margin product offerings,” he said. “Meanwhile, we expect this program to extend BIO-key’s sales reach within the market, particularly as the need for convenient and reliable multi-factor security grows.”
The CAP program’s announcement comes just a couple of weeks after BIO-key revealed that another national police force has decided to use its biometric authentication solutions to secure access to its internal IT systems, further elevating BIO-key’s profile in this market area. But with BIO-key also having previously demonstrated its technology’s applications in other sectors including financial services and manufacturing, the CAP program could help the company to capitalize on this versatility.
