BIO-key is continuing to build up its Channel Alliance Partner (CAP) program. The company launched the program back in 2019 to create a distribution network for its various biometric products, and then expanded it earlier this year to highlight its Identity and Access Management (IAM) portfolio, and its PortalGuard Identity-as-a-Service platform in particular.
Now BIO-key has added Intelisys to its roster of Channel Partners. Intelisys is a ScanSource subsidiary that provides its own customers with a range of different technology services and solutions. The new arrangement will make PortalGuard one of the solutions that Intelisys offers to those clients, and help BIO-key find new customers for its identity offerings.
PortalGuard itself was designed to be a comprehensive identity and access management solution that streamlines the login experience for end users. The platform has Single Sign-on capabilities and supports a number of authentication options, including biometrics.
Together, Intelisys and BIO-key will spearhead a new Master Agent Referral Partner Program. BIO-key is hoping that the referral program will boost revenues and generate new business opportunities all over the world.
“This is a great milestone for BIO-key as we continue to grow our channel program and ensure that we have geographic coverage in the top markets,” said BIO-key CRO Fred Corsentino. “We look forward to working together with Intelisys to help solve security and identity and access management challenges for the enterprise as we look to a safer future.”
BIO-key has provided PortalGuard security for dozens of organizations in the past two years. The solution has been especially popular in the public sector, with several academic institutions and government agencies signing on to use the service. The Orange County Elections Office in Florida is one of BIO-key’s most recent PortalGuard customers, and the company also showcased PortalGuard at the National Association of Counties Conference.
