Biometrics News – Behavioral Biometrics
BehavioSec is taking home a pair of major awards in recognition of its flagship Behavioral Biometrics Platform. The solution took Gold at the 2019 Golden Bridge Awards in the Authentication Innovations category, and was also selected as the Multifactor Solution of the Year during the CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards.
The Golden Bridge Awards are handed to the top international companies in a number of different industries, and are picked by a panel of more than 160 expert judges. BehavioSec grabbed the top spot in the Authentication category.
The CyberSecurity Breakthrough Awards, meanwhile, focus exclusively on information security and are chosen by the CyberSecurity Breakthrough organization.
“It’s an honor to be selected by both Golden Bridge and CyberSecurity Breakthrough for recognition among so many impressive nominees,” said BehavioSec VP of Products Jordan Blake. “These awards stand as a testament to BehavioSec’s leadership in the application of behavioral biometrics to analyze user behavior in real-time, protect businesses and consumers from cybercriminals, and help put a stop to online fraud.”
BehavioSec’s Behavioral Biometrics Platform verifies people’s identities based on behavioral tendencies like typing patterns and device pressure. Unlike a one-time solution like a password, behavioral biometrics provides continuous authentication beyond the initial log in.
The Platform was recently updated to ensure compliance with the new PSD2 standards in Europe, which went into effect on September 14. The solution has since been added to NICE Actimize’s rapidly expanding X-Sight Marketplace.
