AuthID has partnered with the EinStrong Foundation to implement authentication technology in philanthropic operations. The collaboration builds on AuthID’s expanding presence in the APAC region and aims to enhance the security and efficiency of charitable aid distribution.
AuthID’s platform uses facial biometric authentication that processes verifications in approximately 700 milliseconds, with a reported false match rate of 1 in 1 billion. This performance metric ranks it among the industry’s fastest verification solutions, while its false match rate meets international standards for high-security applications. The company says its technology operates without storing biometric data, ensuring compliance with increasingly stringent privacy regulations while protecting against fraud, deepfakes, and account takeovers.
The EinStrong Foundation, established in 2019 in Southern California, focuses on addressing extreme poverty, climate change, and educational inequality. The organization implements a Conditional Basic Income model, providing direct financial assistance to recipients while incorporating incentives for education, career development, and environmental initiatives.
Through this partnership, EinStrong’s ESi App now incorporates authID’s biometric authentication system to verify aid recipients. The integration enables donors to confirm recipient identities before providing sponsorship, while maintaining privacy compliance across international operations.
The collaboration facilitates EinStrong’s expansion into new regions, including Asia and Africa, through authID’s scalable authentication infrastructure. This expansion leverages AuthID’s recent $10 million deployment in India, demonstrating the company’s capability to support large-scale operations in developing markets. The foundation aims to reach over one billion people through its technology-enhanced aid distribution system.
The implementation addresses specific operational challenges in charitable organizations, including fund allocation verification and recipient authentication. The organizations say that their system maintains recipient privacy while providing transparency in aid distribution processes, a crucial feature in regions with limited technological infrastructure or strict data protection requirements.
