Aratek is bringing a slew of biometric solutions to Trustech 2021. Most notably, the company will be using the opportunity to unveil the latest version of its Marshall tablet, and to bring its TruFace facial recognition platform to the European market.
“Trustech is one show that Aratek doesn’t want to miss because year after year, the organizers manage to draw the highest quality audience in the digital identify, security and payments industries,” said Aratek International Business Division VP Samuel Wu. “It gathers thousands of end-users who will benefit from seeing Aratek’s biometric identity solutions in action.”
In that regard, the Marshall 8 is a rugged, portable device that can be used for biometric registration and authentication. The device offers fingerprint, face, and iris recognition capabilities, and also supports barcode and NFC communications. The device will perform well in indoor and outdoor environments thanks to its IP-65 rating, with Aratek arguing that the device is well-suited to law enforcement, voter registration, attendance tracking, and border control, amongst other applications.
TruFace, on the other hand, first debuted in October of 2019, though the solution has yet to make a splash in Europe. For Trustech, the platform has been integrated into the TruFace BA8300 terminal, which is geared primarily toward access control and retail applications. Aratek noted that TruFace is a contactless authentication solution, and can therefore help meet the growing demand for touchless tech during the pandemic. The terminal supports fingerprint, barcode, QR code, and RFID readings in addition to facial recognition.
The TruFace terminal features Aratek’s TrustFace live face detection algorithm, and identifies users with built-in dual HDR cameras. Aratek will also be showcasing its full portfolio of fingerprint scanners. The scanners are all FBI-certified, and range from a simple FAP 10 scanner to the 10-print A900 FAP 60 offering.
Trustech 2021 will run from November 30 to December 2 at the Paris Expo de Versailles. Aratek will be setting up shop at booth 5.2 D 051.
