Alcatraz AI will be making the trek to Las Vegas for this year’s International Security Conference. ISC West is set to run from March 23 to 25 at the Venetian Expo, where Alcatraz’s wares will be on display at Booth 21124.
At ISC West, Alcatraz will be showcasing its Rock facial authentication system, calling particular attention to the solution’s recently updated Administration and Management Platform. The Platform is now in its second iteration, and provides Alcatraz clients with better backend features that make the Rock easier to install and integrate with existing security infrastructure.
In that regard, Alcatraz Platform Version 2 comes with enhanced troubleshooting tools, and a new REST-based API that can be used to combine the Rock with a third-party security system. The Platform also has a user-friendly interface that is compatible with the OAuth2 and SAML standards and supports features like Single Sign-on authentication. Clients do not have to perform a full software integration in order to use the Rock, though those that do want a more comprehensive deployment can use it with virtually any access control solution.
Alcatraz itself uses facial recognition to verify employee identities at all points of entry. The solution can enable contactless multi-factor authentication, and comes with a tailgating detection feature that will send an alert to administrators whenever someone tries to follow a recognized user into the building. Meanwhile, the Rock’s ONVIF certification supports additional integrations with Video Management Systems.
“At Alcatraz AI, we are creating a new category of autonomous access control for accessing secured spaces,” said Alcatraz CEO Tina D’Agostin. “We are excited to showcase our autonomous access control solutions at ISC West.”
ISC West attendees can also view the Rock at Booth 8037, where Boon Edam will be displaying access control products that have been outfitted with Alcatraz’s facial recognition tech. Alcatraz already brought the Rock to ISC East back in November.
