Alcatraz AI will be heading straight to Austin after wrapping up at ISC West. The company had previously announced that it would be in Las Vegas for ISC West from March 23-25, and has now revealed that it will be attending the 2022 Data Center World show less than a week later. Data Center World is set to run from March 28-31 at the Austin Convention Center in Texas.
As the name would suggest, Data Center World is a showcase for technologies that let data centers run more smoothly and makes the facilities easier to manage. Alcatraz wants to help improve data center security, and will specifically be demoing its Rock access control solution. The Rock uses facial authentication to verify the identities of registered employees at points of entry, enabling contactless access control backed up with multi-factor authentication.
The solution can also capture video at the door in real time, and offers tailgating detection to make sure criminals cannot follow an authorized individual into a building. On the backend, Alcatraz will be showing off the recently updated V2 version of its Administration and Management Platform, which can be installed more quickly than its predecessor and is easier to upgrade once everything is up and running. The platform is system agnostic, and can either be deployed alongside an organization’s existing infrastructure, or integrated into a broader hardware and software network thanks to its support for the OAuth2 and SAML protocols.
Alcatraz’s solutions will be on display at Booth 1025. The company is making its first appearance at Data Center World, and has already been shortlisted as one of the finalists for the event’s 2022 Startup Challenge. The Data Center World Startup Challenge has been set up to recognize young companies that are at the forefront of the IT and data center industries.
