“At ZKTeco USA we are always looking at new ways to improve the customer experience, to enhance security while delivering peace of mind and convenience. The convenient, stable and meaningful power that Wi-Charge delivers is an excellent building block for next-generation access control solutions.” – Manish Dalal, President and Founder, ZKTeco USA
Biometric access control solutions provider ZKTeco USA is showing off the product of a collaboration with Israel-based wireless charging technology specialist Wi-Charge at this year’s Mobile World Congress event in Los Angeles.
The companies have delivered a biometric lock system for the home that doesn’t require batteries. It’s just a prototype, but one that shows off the unique advantages of the companies’ collaboration, with the system incorporating a ZKTeco fingerprint reader and Wi-Charge’s wireless charging technology.
In a statement announcing the solution, ZKTeco USA President Manish Dalal suggested that it could represent the beginning of a larger collaboration between the companies. “The convenient, stable and meaningful power that Wi-Charge delivers is an excellent building block for next-generation access control solutions,” he said.
The solution is being shown off from Wi-Charge’s booth, #1566, in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center, where this year’s Mobile World Congress Americas is being hosted.
