“ZKTeco says its seminar event saw 120 attendees, and that it showcased solutions pertaining to time and attendance tracking, access control, Point of Sale, and smart locks, as well as its ‘Visible Light Face Recognition’ system.”
ZKTeco has been pursuing a regionally-focused marketing strategy for its security solutions, and recently held one of its most culturally-specific events yet: An ‘Iftar Party’ in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
Iftar, also known as “fatoor”, is the evening meal through which Muslims break fast during Ramadan. With 90 percent of Bangladesh’s population identifying as Muslim, an event revolving around iftar would appear to be focused way of reaching out to this particular part of the world’s security market.
ZKTeco says its seminar event saw 120 attendees, and that it showcased solutions pertaining to time and attendance tracking, access control, Point of Sale, and smart locks, as well as its ‘Visible Light Face Recognition’ system. Demos were well-attended, and seminar participants generally expressed a strong interest in learning more about ZKTeco’s solutions, the company says.
The event was just the latest in a long line of regionally-focused seminars conducted by ZKTeco, and also comes after the company’s “outstanding performance” at ISC West, where ZKTeco said it drew strong interest in its biometric technologies, among other solutions.
