ZKTeco is celebrating another successful promotional event, having showcased its time tracking, access control, and biometric security offerings at the recent Cairo ICT event in Egypt.
Cairo ICT is a major industry exhibition, with ZKTeco asserting that last year’s event attracted over 83,000 purchasers. This year’s edition, which ran from November 25th to 28th at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, featured almost 520 exhibitors, and an inauguration ceremony attended by the country’s President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
In a statement announcing its participation in the 22nd annual Cairo ICT, ZKTeco said its solutions received an enthusiastic response, asserting that they “impressed everyone” and that numerous customers indicated they would “continue to deepen cooperation” with the company. “We believe that the market of ZKTeco in Egypt will be better and better,” the company said.
While ZKTeco’s participation in Cairo ICT may be seen as a further expansion of its promotional campaign beyond the APAC region after the company’s recent seminar in St. Petersburg, in fact the company has long shown an interest in Egypt, having showcased biometric technology to government officials in 2012, when the country was under the leadership Mohamed Morsi, who was deposed by then-General El-Sisi in 2013.
