ZKTeco has put together an online exhibition in an effort to make up for the summer’s lost convention schedule. Most of the industry’s high-profile conferences have either been cancelled or delayed due to COVID-19, so the company is hoping that the online demonstration will give customers a chance to sample their products from the comfort of their home.
The expo will run from June 2 all the way to August 2, and can be found at expo.zkteco.com. The event will consist of four main product tracks, including the Cloud Experience Center, Go live, the Regional Zone, and Hero Products.
The Hero Products track specifically concerns products that have debuted in response to COVID-19. For example, ZKTeco augmented its access control and surveillance products with temperature detection technology to help screen for fever, and to make sure that its contactless facial recognition solutions would be able identify people wearing masks. The company has since gone on to release a standalone infrared thermometer for indoor spaces.
The Cloud Experience Center is the primary track of the exhibition. It will provide customers with demos of a number of different cloud-based ZKTeco products, which can in turn be deployed for a number of different applications. The noteworthy offerings include ZKTeco’s Smart Campus Multi-security Management, NGTeco Smart Home & Smart Office, ZKBioCloud Parking, and the ZKBioCloud Software-as-a-Service solution.
The Regional Zone, meanwhile, was set up to provide better local service to customers in different parts of the world. It includes channels for Asia, Europe and Africa, and North and South America, each of which will offer broadcasts in local languages and highlight case studies and promote content unique to that region.
The company’s Go Live programming consisted of a series of Theme, Tech, Product, and Zone talks featuring ZKTeco executives. Those talks only ran from June 2-4, but they will be available in the archives for the duration of the conference.
