ZKTeco is enjoying a little time in the limelight, with a new China Global Television Network (CGTN)program highlighting the company’s participation in China’s ‘Belt and Road’ initiative.
Sometimes translated as ‘One Belt One Road’, the initiative is a government-led program in promotion of economic partnerships between China and other states, and likewise between businesses therein. And as ZKTeco explains, an important component of this is the rail lines between China and European Union countries, which ZKTeco says now link 48 cities in China with 42 cities in Europe.
ZKTeco, which has offices in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and elsewhere in the region, is a frequent customer of these rail lines. As the company explains, it started shipping its biometric access control and time and attendance products on China-EU lines in May of 2017, and it is by now “a frequenter” of the line, according to a statement from the company. And its rail-riding earned the company a few minutes in a French-language CGTN program about the rail lines and their role in the Belt and Road program.
A clip of the program featuring ZKTeco Spain director Fernando Ducay Real can be accessed via ZKTeco’s website.
