ZKTeco Sees Strong Interest in Biometric Facial Recognition Tech at Peru Seminar

ZKTeco‘s marketing roadshow was back in Peru recently, with the company having organized a seminar at a Sonesta Hotel at the end of May to showcase its various security solutions.

Among those solutions were ZKTeco’s CCTV, turnstile, POS, and security barrier technologies, including a swing barrier with integrated facial recognition. ZKTeco also showcased its ZKBioSecurity 3.2 and BioTime 8.0 software solutions.

The company says that its seminar attracted 80 attendees from across Peru and Ecuador. Guests were able to see live demonstrations of ZKTeco’s security solutions, with ZKTeco suggesting in a post on its website that most of attendees were particularly interested in its ‘visible light’ facial recognition technology for access control.

This was just the latest event in ZKTeco’s ongoing series of regionally-focused seminars, with the company having recently conducted such marketing efforts in Bangladesh and the Philippines. And this wasn’t its first seminar in Peru; it also organized such an event at the Country Club Lima Hotel last summer.
