ZKTeco took a somewhat novel opportunity to showcase its biometric access control solutions: The company brought its wares to ARCHIDEX 2018 – the 19th International Architecture, Interior Design & Building Exhibition, held earlier this month in Malaysia.
It’s not the first event one might think to find biometric solutions, but it’s a platform that makes more and more sense as biometric technology becomes an increasingly prominent component of building infrastructure thanks to not only biometric locks and gates, but also biometric time and attendance systems.
In ARCHIDEX, ZKTeco found an opportunity to show off its palm biometrics-based access control terminal, the PA10, and its G3 Plus facial recognition terminal, as well as its F22 access control terminal offering Wi-Fi connectivity. On the software side, ZKTeco also showcased its ZKBiosecurity 3.0 and ZKBiotime 7.0 solutions.
These are the same solutions that ZKTeco highlighted at its recent seminar in Peru, which itself came a couple of months after a similar event in Bangladesh, underscoring ZKTeco’s strategy of simply getting its technology in front of more potential customers – even individuals who might not have been thinking of biometric solutions beforehand, as may well have been the case with many of this year’s ARCHIDEX attendees.
