“The Trove2Z2 is designed for integration with ZKTeco’s inBio and ZKAccess C3 access control panels, and can integrate up to 32 doors.”
ZKTeco USA has teamed up with power and data transmission solutions provider Altronix to offer a new solution for the configuration of access control systems. Called Trove2Z2, it’s a central power board through which technicians can organize all their wiring, allowing for simplified and cost effective installation and management of ZKTeco’s biometric access control solutions.
The Trove2Z2 is designed for integration with ZKTeco’s inBio and ZKAccess C3 access control panels, and can integrate up to 32 doors. It also features a removable backplane that lets technicians test out their access control systems prior to installing it.
As ZKTeco USA CEO Larry Reed explained in a statement announcing the technology, before this solution, “manually running individual wire for large multi-door projects could be a challenge,” whereas with the Trove2Z2 solution, “customers can now consolidate all their wiring which results in dramatic reductions in both installation time and materials.” In other words, as Altronix President Alan Forman put it, the Trove2Z2 offers “a highly efficient access control integration solution that makes installations faster, easier and ultimately more profitable.”
It’s a timely announcement, given that April is Physical Access and Enterprise Month at FindBiometrics, which will feature a strong focus on the kinds of biometric access control systems offered by ZKTeco and its peers. Physical Access and Enterprise Month will culminate in an expert webinar on the morning of Wednesday, April 25th, for which registration is completely free.
