The computer vision specialist VSBLTY is moving forward with a two-month pilot program in collaboration with Canada’s Pure Integrative Pharmacy. Pure currently operates 16 pharmacies in British Columbia as part of the broader Overwaitea Food Group.
The pilot will leverage VSBLTY’s VisionCaptor and DataCaptor software in an effort to boost customer engagement. The pharmacy is hoping that the software will allow them to educate consumers about various pharmaceutical products, and to collect data about the items they buy and the way shoppers navigate the store.
“This unique educational program will provide the firm with data analytics that help them better understand shopper engagement with innovative, in-store digital tools,” said VSBLTY Founder and CEO Jay Hutton.
“This two-month pilot will enable us to determine if this in-store communication technology will enable our customers to make more informed decisions about which healthcare products and services will serve their individual needs,” added Pure President and CEO Bob Mehr.
The news comes shortly after VSBLTY retained the services of the Canadian investor relations firm CHF Capital Markets, and indicates that the decision to do so may already be paying dividends. VSBLTY is trying to develop its profile in Canada, where CHF focuses on small and mid-sized companies.
VSBLTY previously formed a reseller agreement with Sensormatic Solutions, and partnered with Energeticka to deploy smart city surveillance kits in Mexico City.
