This strategic alliance aims to unify technology, research and development, and marketing efforts under one entity, thereby facilitating growth and innovation in the biometrics sector.
EyeLock and GalvanEyes will pool selected assets and liabilities into this 50/50 joint venture. GalvanEyes will oversee daily operations, with EyeLock retaining significant control over key business decisions. The venture is part of VOXX’s strategy to mitigate operating costs associated with EyeLock while capitalizing on potential market opportunities.

The reorganization to establish BioCenturion includes executive shifts within VOXX, with Beat Kahli transitioning to focus on BioCenturion’s development, and Loriann Shelton stepping in as CFO of VOXX.
