February has been Voice Month at FindBiometrics, a four week investigation of the modality that authenticates by listening to how we sound. All month through our featured articles, our industry news coverage and a special webinar presentation, we have been taking a look at everything that’s special about using handsfree authentication everywhere from the car, to the call center, to the online store.
Join us as we take a look back on what made Voice Month worth tuning in for.
The Sound Of A Revolution
We began Voice Month with a primer on the topic, preparing for the coming festivities with an overview of the modality and a collection of the most relevant news items from the past year. In week two we explored a major aspect of voice recognition technology, its place in an increasingly multi-modal biometric world, and we highlighted the authentication method’s impressive ability to carve out niches in application.
In week three we moved on to look at five real and diverse areas of application in voice recognition. From the developer market, to the call center, to finance and beyond, last week’s list article demonstrated the famous versatility of voice biometrics.

The live discussion built on the topics explored in the Voice Month featured articles and was attended by an audience of over 250. A recording of the full event can be found by following the link below.
