“Speak With Me technology will be available for deployment across any automated vehicle fleet running AWare regardless of vehicle type or automated driving system.”
A new partnership could help to bring artificial intelligence to more cars.
The AI technology comes by way of Speak With Me, whose eponymous platform revolves around a conversational voice assistant. The solution has now been incorporated into Renovo’s AWare operating system, which is aimed at bringing sophisticated software and analytic capabilities to smart cars.
In a statement announcing the partnership, the companies explained that the integration means that “Speak With Me technology will be available for deployment across any automated vehicle fleet running AWare regardless of vehicle type or automated driving system.”
Commenting further, Speak With Me CEO Ajan Juneja emphasized that Renovo has already established some solid traction for its automotive platform. “We chose to integrate with Renovo’s AWare OS platform because of its robust infrastructure, the company’s focus on commercial deployment at scale, and access to the growing number of fleets running AWare,” he said, adding that this all means Speak With Me will get “into more automated vehicle cabins faster”.
The integration reflects not only the evolution of the smart car ecosystem, but the growing interest in AI technology more broadly, with a number of major investments and partnerships having been announced across the tech sector in recent weeks and months.
