Two more new Vivo smartphone models are using biometric technology from Fingerprint Cards and Precise Biometrics. The V3 and V3 Max devices each feature FPC1035 sensors running on Precise BioMatch Mobile software.
The integrations follow almost immediately on the heels of two other Vivo integrations announced last week: The X6S and X6S Plus each featured the same sensor and software configuration. Those devices themselves were upgrades of Vivo’s original X6 and X6 Plus smartphones, which were launched last autumn, also with FPC1035 sensors running on Precise BioMatch Mobile.
These kinds of technological collaborations between FPC and Precise Biometrics have appeared in a wide range of smartphones and have helped to propel each of the companies to leading positions in the mobile biometrics market over the last several months. It also has evidently worked out well for repeat clients like Vivo.
