FindBiometrics president Peter O’Neill recently conducted a video interview with Rob Douglas CEO of BioConnect (formerly Entertech Systems) at the company’s headquarters in Toronto’s Liberty Village. The company recently rebranded and reasserted its mission, embarking on what the company calls “a quest for rightful identity.”
The conversation between O’Neill and Douglas expands on the concept of rightful identity in the enterprise and also provides a sneak peak into what we can expect to see from BioConnect at this week’s ISC West conference in Las Vegas, where it will be manning booth 22075. BioConnect will be demonstrating a number of product integrations as well as its latest time and attendance solution: Teamworks.
BioConnect is taking a very forward thinking approach to enterprise biometrics. What you’ll see in the interview covers not only physical access terminals, but also touches on Internet of Things, wearable applications, and mobile access solutions. Banks, data centers, educational institutions, utilities, telecoms, critical infrastructure companies – BioConnect is aiming to bring access control and workforce management solutions to all of these verticals. In the interview, Douglas names them all and encourages anyone in those markets to contact him via LinkedIn.
Take a look at the video below to see the conversation, and visit BioConnect’s frequently updated blog for a transcript of the full interview.
BioConnect will be participating in the Physical Access Month webinar, Biometrics, Access Control and the Enterprise of Tomorrow, taking place on April 20 at 11AM EDT. Our free registration period is now open.
