Verint is teaming up with Intelligent Voice Limited to provide financial organizations with more comprehensive voice analytics services. To that end, Verint will be combining the technology in its Verint Financial Compliance portfolio with voice analytics tech from Intelligent Voice.
The result will be a new Verint Financial Compliance Profiling product designed for financial institutions operating in an international and remote work environment. In that regard, Verint noted that modern businesses are often holding meetings with people who speak multiple languages, and are doing so in virtual communications channels like Microsoft Teams.
Verint Financial Compliance Profiling is able to turn those conversations into more actionable intelligence. The solution can take transcription in 25 languages thanks to Intelligent Voice’s speech-to-text capabilities, and can be trained to recognize the unique lingo that an organization uses while doing business. As a result, the solution can analyze a transcript and pull out relevant information based on the context of the conversation.
Intelligent Voice’s tech can also use voice biometrics to identify a speaker, and analyze sentiment and behavioral characteristics to provide an even greater level of understanding. Verint indicated that the joint offering will make trading and financial operations more efficient, while simultaneously allowing organizations to comply with regulatory requirements and avoid potential sanctions.
“Deployable across a variety of environments to satisfy regulatory and security concerns, Verint Financial Compliance Profiling has unique capabilities purpose-built for the financial services market,” said Intelligent Voice CEO Ben Shellie. “With increasing regulatory requirements driving organizations to capture and analyze more data in less time, the solution’s intuitive engine enables expeditious review of audio that is subject to an alert.”
“Verint Financial Compliance Profiling brings together enhanced voice capture and review features powered by AI, machine learning, natural language processing, and biometrics technologies into one solution,” added Verint Global Channels and Alliances SVP John Bourne. “These capabilities will improve data completeness for our customers.”
Verint’s own portfolio already includes voice biometrics and an award-winning Speech Analytics transcription platform. The company also worked with Thales to publish a cyberthreat handbook that details some of the digital that businesses need to be prepared to address.
