Veridium Joins IGEL Ready Partner Program

Developers using the IGEL operating system can now use Veridium’s passwordless authentication technology to verify the identities of end users. Veridium has become a member of the IGEL Ready program, which provides developers with a curated list of hardware and software solutions that have all been vetted and validated for use with IGEL OS devices.

Veridium’s technology has specifically been approved for security applications. The company’s VeridiumID software was designed to replace passwords and OTP tokens with strong biometric security, and can provide full coverage for cloud environments. Developers can use Veridium’s SDK to add biometric authentication to an existing product, or they can take advantage of a front-end mobile application that is available through public-facing app stores. In doing so, they give organizations a way to verify the identities of those logging in remotely.

The IGEL Ready program now has more than 100 members. Fujitsu made its PalmSecure authentication system compatible with the IGEL OS platform back in April of 2020.

Veridium, meanwhile, recently formed a strategic partnership with Jumio in an effort to provide organizations with a more complete set of biometric authentication options. The company is best known for its behavioral biometrics technology, though it has also launched a vFace facial recognition system geared toward mobile devices.
